Sharon's SongThis is a song that I wrote for my wife, Sharon, about 13 years ago. We were married for over 41 years and best of friends for over 46 years. She passed away January 4, 2009. This was her favorite song. See Sharon's Page to find out more about her.

This is a song that I wrote and played in the early '60's in a Western Montana band called "The Swingin' B's", with Ray Babcock and Larry Bannister. We have a lot of great memories playing at Thompson Falls, Whitepine and St. Regis, Montana.

- Ed, You're Alive Again (Give 'em Hell Up There In Heaven)
This is song about Edward Fitzgerald, who was born around 1882 and had more influence on my life than I will probably ever know. He had the ranch next to ours and had grown up with the Indians, played football at the University of Montana, gone to the Mining School at Butte, Montana and had a career in electrical power and ranching near Thompson Falls, Montana.

This was my first song to write with lyrics. I wrote this song in December 1968, over Christmas break while I was attending graduate school in engineering at Stanford University. I think the people at the University had a lot to do with the theme of this song. My grades went down after I wrote this song, but my life became better.
